The Life of Peter
Peter has been in Australia for almost 60 years and has been married for 60 years, with two children aged 38 and 39, respectively. He immigrated to Australia from Tibet as a child, accompanied by his mother, father, older sister, and older brother. At the age of 16, he lost his mother to respiratory complications. Additionally, his father succumbed to old age in 1980, and his older sister died from cervical cancer in 1986. Later in 2021, he lost his older brother owing to age-related health complications. Before his retirement, he was a teacher at a local high school and is a prominent figure in the town due to his helpfulness and social engagement. Moreover, he has a varied social circle and is often seen socializing with them, typically while engaging in card games.

Peter seems to be in good health for his age; nonetheless, he suffers from hypertension and diabetes. When asked about his family history about the matter, he said that his parents were uninformed owing to insufficient medical resources. In 2010, he had an injury that resulted in a fractured patella, necessitating surgical intervention for repair. He asserts that in the winter months, the afflicted region experiences mild discomfort but does not result in significant problems such as impaired movement or excruciating pain necessitating the use of analgesics.  He manages his hypertension by taking "Olmetor -20" daily at around 8 a.m. and consumes his herbal remedy for diabetes each night before sleep. He also asserts that this is one of the reasons why older people are respected and cherished in society, which he believes is true.

In terms of circle and social life, Peter believes that his circle has grown since, at this period of youth and middle age, he believes that people are usually busy and do not have much time to attend to their social responsibilities. After reaching old age and entering retirement, he claims to have been enjoying a life of leisure with his companions and participating in activities that offer him delight.

The initiative requires involvement from all areas influencing health factors. A life cycle viewpoint is examined, focusing on how early life events influence an individual's maturation throughout time (Marsman et al., 2018). Consequently, in accordance with Peter's situation, he is a cheerful person who has his complete family with him at the age of 72. Despite his conditions of hypertension and diabetes, they remain below safe limits and are managed well by medication and therapeutic interventions. He is financially stable due to his past career as a teacher before retirement. Moreover, his social circle accompanies him in engaging in recreational activities upon retirement, and he has optimistic perspectives about aging.  He is regarded as one of the most esteemed members of the community. In addition to these features, he is highly esteemed for his sound and robust mind.
